IWC 2024 Awarded the “Trophy” of the highest award.

Our product “MIYANOYUKI Daiginjo” won the highest award, the “Trophy” in the Daiginjo-shu category of the International Wine Challenge (IWC) 2024 SAKE Division, in the SAKE category of the world’s largest wine competition “IWC2024” held in London from May 21 to 24, 2024. The Sake category is divided into 10 categories.

The sake category was divided into 10 categories, with 392 companies (15 of which were from overseas) and 1504 brands (including 31 from overseas) entered in the competition. These brands were evaluated in a blind tasting by a panel of 65 judges from 17 countries, and based on the results, gold, silver, bronze, and competition recommended sake were awarded (announced on June 6). The best brand is selected from the gold medal-winning sake in each category, and “MIYANOYUKI Daiginjo” was selected as the trophy-winning sake this time.

Furthermore, the “Champion Sake,” the highest gold medal among the trophy-winning sake in each category, will be announced on the 9th of next month.

We will not be complacent about this and will continue to make further efforts to meet your expectations by being quality oriented in the future.

〈Jury Comments〉
Bright and vibrant aromas, melon, appley pineapple, strawberry, blossomy fruit. Plenty of ripeness with some floral notes. Smooth, slipper and grainy back palate with lively mineral power.
