At “Kura Master” sake competition held in France, “MIYANOYUKI Daiginjyo Yamadanishiki” won the Platinum Award in the Daiginjo-shu category and “MIYANOYUKI Yamahai Special Junmai-shu” won the Gold Award in the Classic Hashi category.
The competition has been held since 2017 and is judged by professionals in the food and beverage industry, including top sommeliers from leading French hotels. The competition focuses on “food and beverage compatibility” in France’s historical culinary culture, where Japanese food has received a great deal of attention.
This year, 1,223 entries from 370 breweries were submitted for 6 sake categories (Sake Sparkling, Junmai Daiginjo-shu, Daiginjo, Junmai-shu, Classic Hashi and Koshu), and 134 Platinum Awards and 269 Gold Awards were selected.
